Bay
This beautiful spot is
a hidden lagoon surrounded by lush green hills. In the
18th century the bay helped hide a British Fleet pursued
by the French. Today, Marigot is a resort area. Visitors
often recognize its palm lined beaches since several movies
including "Dr. Doolittle" with Rex Harrison,
"Fire Power" with Sophia Loren and "Water"
with Michael Cane were filmed here.
The Resort Marigot Bay
offers a wide choice of restaurants from local cuisine
to a la carte international menus. Evening entertainment's
include steel bands, sultry live jazz and JJ's Bar 'Jump-Up'
on a Friday night.
